Wrinkle Removers

Fillers are substances that are injected with a very tiny needle into lines of facial expression, most often nasolabial grooves that run from the nose to the corner of the mouth, marionette lines that give the corner of the mouth that "turned down" look and of course to the lips that need to look more sensuous and youthful. None of the fillers used at the Renaissance Cosmetic Surgery Center are permanent but may last up to two years or longer. Among the fillers are the following:

1. Restylane - a hyaluronic acid that is FDA approved and lasts up to nine months

2. Juvederm - another hyaluronic acid that is also FDA approved and may last up to a year

3. Radiesse - another FDA approved product that gives a lasting look that lasts up to two years

4. Sculptra - an FDA product that is especially good for facial volume loss, lines and wrinkles and lasts up to two years.

5. Fat Grafting - using a person’s own fat this can be transplanted to restore volume to the face and may last up to five years.
