Dr. Habash is a native of Ohio. He was born and raised in the small town of Oxford, Ohio. He later graduated from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology & Master of Science in medical microbiology and immunology. Following this Dr. Habash received his medical degree in 2002 from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dr. Habash subsequently completed a six year integrated residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was accepted into one of the few integrated plastic surgery residencies in the country, and received training in general surgery as well as plastic surgery. He has published articles in peer reviewed journals and presented his research work at regional surgical meetings.
